Membership in the Arizona Mushroom Society is open to anyone whose interest in fungi is non-commercial. Two types of membership are available.
Annual Membership includes "bundled" membership for your entire household, providing them the opportunity to participate in club activities with you. However, only the primary member will have voting privileges in the Arizona Mushroom Society.
This membership is valid for the calendar year and must be renewed annually, with payment of dues at the beginning of each year. If you are a new member and sign up after September 1, your membership will be valid for the rest of the same year and the entire following calendar year. Existing members, if your dues for the new year are delinquent after March 15, your membership will be suspended and you won't be able to participate in Society activities.
If you sign up for this level of membership, your waiver of liability will apply to any minor child or ward for whom you are a guardian, and whose name is registered on your profile page. Other adults in your household who wish to participate in Society activities must be added as "bundle members" by the primary member (i.e. the "bundle administrator"), and must then sign their own individual waiver. Please contact the Corresponding Secretary or President if you need help with this.
Life Membership is available for an individual only and includes full voting privileges. This membership is valid for the life of the member and renews automatically each year. You are allowed to bring 2 guests per year to a foray and 2 guests to other events. Terms are otherwise as noted above.
